Since 1987, Wellbond has specialized in importing and distributing dry and frozen ethnic and specialty foods. From our headquarters in Markham, Ontario, we connect high-value, differentiated brands with the retailers and foodservice operators who serve Canada’s and America’s most dynamic food communities.

Our customers span the ethnic and mainstream markets across retail and foodservice channels, including major ethnic and general trade retailers such as T&T Supermarket. We build brands for the long term — with a strong preference for exclusive Canadian partnerships and a rigorous, fact-based approach to every product we bring to market.

Compliance is non-negotiable at Wellbond. Every product we import meets the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations, CFIA standards, bilingual labeling requirements, and full one-step-up, one-step-down traceability.

Wellbond was founded in 1987 with a simple conviction: the foods people grew up with should be as easy to find in Canada as anywhere in the world. What began as a small import operation in Ontario has grown into a coast-to-coast distribution platform trusted by suppliers and retailers on both sides of the border.
